The wine selection is exceptionally good. You can taste your way through Italy, including greats such as Gaja and Ornellaia. From the kitchen come plates of raw ham or cheese, as well as warm octopus salad, tender sea bass and beef fillet or lamb chops for the hungry. The pizza is popular.

The family business above Merano is particularly rustic and close to nature. Much of what is served on the table is produced in-house, and herbs are used to refine the dishes, such as the homemade basil gnocchi. The grilled lamb variations with roasted bacon dumplings are a dream.
The wood-panelled rooms are decorated in South Tyrolean style. Palm trees grow in the garden and from the terraces you can admire the panorama over the town and up to the peaks of the Texel Group. The traditional and Mediterranean dishes are also a delight.

The pride and joy is the home-brewed beer, which can be enjoyed in the shady beer garden in summer. To go with the bock beer and pilsner, the menu features traditional dishes such as bacon snacks, fluffy dumplings and crispy roast chicken, as well as Mediterranean dishes such as fish and pasta.
The farm impresses with great views and lush green nature. Much of the produce is produced and processed here. There is a tempting aroma from the kitchen, starting with sour beef and veal head, and the beetroot soup is light and airy. The various strudels are also a dream.
