Stylish cocktail bar on Stuttgart's Wilhelmsplatz, where operator Knud Scheibelt focuses on creative recipes and high-quality spirits. He was inspired by American film noirs when furnishing the room, which measures just 28 square metres. The menu includes 250 different types of whisk(e)y.
Amber makes the world look like it was forged from gold. In Bernstein, on the other hand, the drinks don't taste like gold, but well-balanced without becoming boring. Similar to roulette in the city's famous casino: it's always the same wheel that spins, but the game is new every time.
Mannheim is like looking for a 2-euro coin in a pocket full of small change. Somehow you always win, but the problem is at Hagestolz. It may seem like Berlin if you have no other comparison. Otherwise, it's a bar that would be convincing in any city. What's on the menu is a minor matter.
Actually, it doesn't take much at all. A little love for the craft and the right instinct for people and what they want without necessarily knowing it yet. Okay, that's quite a lot. All the better then that there is a place in Crailsheim where it all comes together. And in a fun way, too.

It's as if the aliens have finally found us and parked their UFO in Stuttgart of all places. And to avoid any empty space, there is a cocktail and Champagne bar here that is well worth a visit. Not just because of the interior design, but also because of what goes on in the glasses. It's galactic.
That's really something special. Sitting in the forest and feeling like you're in a metropolis. This is partly due to the extensive drinks menu, but also because there is nothing superfluous on it. So you order a Manhattan, why not, and shake your head at life.
