Bernd Pulker is a wine freak of the radical kind and his Heuriger has long been a cult restaurant. On warm days, caravans of hungry day-trippers sit in the garden to enjoy the best roast pork between Vienna and Bregenz - and the rare wines.

This cult tavern in Weißenkirchen is only open for a few days once a year. And during this time, everyone who knows the place is on their feet to catch a free spot. Because the wine is so good and the food is sensational.

Modern wine tavern with a cozy lounge area, a terrace with a magnificent view over Klosterneuburg and a secluded garden. In addition to cold Heurigen classics, the restaurant also serves seasonal dishes such as forkfuls of asparagus and prawns.

A family business with a 400 year old history is a must to visit! Bernhard Ecker's wines are getting better and better, and Heurigen dishes have been appreciated here for their quality for years, such as the caraway roast with mustard dressing and wild garlic capers.

The first organic winery in Carnuntum not only masters the art of winemaking, but also cooks with love and skill: guests travel long distances for the caraway roast from the wood-fired oven, as well as for the beautiful seating in the garden.

Traditional Kellergassen-Heuriger with a view of the vineyards. From smoked meats to surfleisch and Blunzn - most of the Heurigen products are homemade according to old family recipes. The in-house Qualitätswein wine comes from the Kamptal and Wagram.

The unadorned Heuriger opens its doors three times a year. The wines, which are characterised by the Wagramer Lössterrassen, are served with down-to-earth Heurigen snacks from selected producers in the region and sometimes from their own hunt (hare ragout!).

Three generations of the Krug family live the Heurigen culture with heart and soul in the historic Zechhaus. The core of traditional dishes is extended in a sophisticated way, and the wine selection is already plentiful. Their own aperitifs and schnapps round off the offer.

Alexandra and Martin Donabaum run the Heurigen, which is beautifully situated in the middle of vineyards. Martin provides white wines full of character from the cool Spitzer vineyards, while Alexandra, a trained restaurateur, looks after her guests with home-made, cold delicacies.
