PCR tests are not necessary for entering the country!

France is easing the corona restrictions to grant travellers entry. Despite the pandemic, further relaxations are now in force in France to ease the restrictions as much as possible and thus also boost tourism again. Travelers no longer need to present a PCR test; an antigen test that is not older than 72 hours is sufficient.

Relaxed measures

Anyone who is fully vaccinated can enter France without any problems. And for all other holidaymakers, traveling to their dream destination should become easier again. From now on, anyone crossing the border will need no negative PCR test more. An antigen test that is not older than 72 hours is also considered proof that you are virus-free.

And the country itself is also slowly returning to more normality. Previously, restaurants were only allowed to be open in outdoor areas, but now the Interiors again with an occupancy rate of 50 percent open. And the evening Curfew no longer applies from 21:00, but only from 23:00.

The situation is slowly easing

In addition to restaurants and other venues, swimming pools, gyms, cinemas and theaters are also open again. Large outdoor cultural events are also permitted again. So if you're planning to enjoy an outdoor concert in France, you're in luck.

The easing is due to the falling infection figures and a more relaxed situation in intensive care units. France is therefore no longer considered a risk area. And the vaccination situation in the country is also improving.
