More than one night: these hotels celebrate Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day
Hotel

Cupid's arrow is set to strike many lovers again this year. And where better to do this than on a break together in a beautiful hotel? Falstaff TRAVEL presents hideaways that celebrate the day of love in a special way.

"Love is all around" is the motto again on February 14, 2026 - that's Valentine's Day. Whether it's Galentine's with your best friend, a time-out with your loved ones, a romantic trip as a couple or even a day all to yourself: love can be celebrated in many different ways. Elegant hotels see it the same way and offer a variety of ways to celebrate the day of love. Falstaff TRAVEL presents beautiful ideas.

Pillow Talk at the "Miiro Palais Rudolf", Vienna

With the "Pillow Talk", guests who book in February enjoy lovingly curated extras that make their stay extra special: a welcome love potion, small daily treats, access to the exclusive Love Playlist and personal recommendations for romantic activities in the area. Guests do not necessarily have to come as a couple; you can also book the package with friends, alone or with the person who makes you laugh the most.

Love ice skating at "The Mark Hotel", New York

Few cities understand big emotions as uncompromisingly as New York. Here, love is loud, glamorous and sometimes even oversized - just like the "Mark Penthouse", located high above Manhattan. With a view of Central Park and the skyline, Valentine's Day at "The Mark" becomes a private production: Champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, red roses and absolute intimacy on two floors. The experience ranges from couples' massages and Augustine bath treatments in the suite to private personal training sessions and a moment that is unique even in New York: romantic ice skating on the hotel's private rooftop rink.

Lovely pâtisserie at "Le Bristol Paris"

On Valentine's Day, hearts beat especially fast in the city of love and at "Le Bristol Paris" in the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Pâtissier Maxence Barbot makes sweet confessions with two exclusive creations: the Saint-Honoré d'Amour, specially interpreted in the shape of a heart for Valentine's Day, and the Vanilla & Pecan Flan d'Amour, finished with a custom-made golden heart in place of the iconic "B". Available on February 14, 2026 at the "L'Épicerie des Ateliers du Bristol".

The way to the heart is through the stomach at "The Lanesborough", London

Right on Hyde Park Corner, The Lanesborough, part of Oetker Hotels, combines British grandeur with discreet luxury. "I love you" takes on a new meaning here - with personal butler service, elegant suites and a feeling of home, just a little more luxurious. The culinary centerpiece is a romantic five-course dinner at "The Lanesborough Grill": Bluefin Tuna, Charred Sea Trout with Champagne and caviar and Short Rib of Beef with lobster are served - accompanied by Champagne and live music.

In love (not only) in Munich at the "LOUIS Hotel"

The "Fall in Love with Munich" arrangement gives February 14 at the LOUIS Hotel an urban, stylish touch. Two nights in a designer room, a welcome treatment and a bottle of Champagne - that's all you need for a romantic break. Whether as a solo date with a late breakfast, including a view of the colorful hustle and bustle at the popular Viktualienmarkt or as a Galentine's date with girlfriends over brunch - Valentine's Day can be celebrated in style here.

The scent of Rome at the "Hotel de la Ville", Rome

In February, the luxury hotel is collaborating with the Roman fragrance brand "Coreterno" to capture the scent of the Eternal City. The "UltraRome" perfume is an olfactory, sensual reminder of Rome: it has nuances of incense and the cool stone in the Pantheon, captures the fresh market scents of the Campo de' Fiori and its citrus notes are reminiscent of the Giardino degli Aranci. As a sign of love for Rome, the fragrance will be presented to selected guests at a candlelight dinner on February 14.
