Ever since the Hotel de Mar first opened its doors in 1964, it has been a popular beach destination for Mallorcan high society, the international jet set and for famous artists. This summer, parasols and pool loungers are wrapped in prints designed by Alberta Ferretti, as is the outdoor area of the Pool Club restaurant. The staff will also be wearing tailor-made uniforms in the Ferretti look. The collaboration also continues in the pool restaurant. The menu features a culinary journey inspired by the essence of the Mediterranean. The cocktails are personally designed by Ferretti.
The collaboration with a designer is of course no coincidence. Meliá Hotels International, founded in Mallorca in 1956, now has over 400 hotels in more than 40 countries. And with the Alberta Ferretti Beach Club, the group's ambition is to appeal to sophisticated guests from the creative sector who are constantly on the lookout for tailor-made experiences and innovations.
