Total ripoff for me

Jens Liebhauser

Jens Liebhauser's life is not for the faint-hearted. The businessman loves action. Racing, kite boarding: it's not for nothing that his friends describe him as a "cray guy". The multi-entrepreneur owns 24 companies, all of which reflect his own vision: Creating beauty with sustainability. As the founder of East West Real Estate International as well as Zhero Hotel Group, Liebhauser is an experienced globetrotter. But why the extreme sportsman likes it rather boring on vacation and where he can relax best, he reports in an interview in the Travel Diary.

Velaa Private Island

My personal dream destination is the Noonu Atoll. It belongs to the Maldives and is truly a paradise. I love to swim there in the crystal clear water. And curiously, I like this place because I am particularly bored there. In a positive way, though. In the Maldives, there are many ways to spend the day: In the hotel, on the beach, doing sports. For me, the perfect mix is: Doing nothing and when I feel like it, going golfing or using the Watersport Center. My secret tip: What you should not miss in this dream place is to experience the underwater world. I do this myself while snorkeling.

"My motto in life is: enjoy the moment. You can do that almost every second in the Maldives."

For me, the perfect evening ends with a bottle of Montrachet. Where I drink it varies greatly. It also goes well with any good dinner. And there are many good places for this in the Maldives. For example, I can recommend the Japanese restaurant on the tower. Also the Seafood Restaurant is in a class of his own. The chef previously worked at the best restaurant in the world in Denmark.

Friends keep asking me which hotels are a guarantee for a successful vacation. I can think of three different ones off the top of my head that I would like to recommend. Paradise is the Velaa Private Island. Each bungalow has its own pool. The view of the sea is fantastic. It is similar with the Cheval Blanc. This accommodation is also unique and, like all the others, is practically in the middle of the sea. The Reeti Rah is just as luxurious and every villa there is a dream.

My motto in life is: Enjoy the moment. In the Maldives, this happens almost every second. In no case should you miss the turtle farm. The visit there is really an experience. For me, travelling means updating my inspiration. And I definitely need that as a multi-entrepreneur. Now, when I have music from Boiler Room in my ear, my life is perfect. In short, my favorite travel destination in this world can be described in a few words like this: A total rip off. Have fun exploring for yourself.

"For me, the perfect evening ends with a bottle of Montrachet."
