Hot Rum Punch
This simple, well balanced punch is a good way of using up any sweet sherry left over from Christmas.
Ingredients (1 servings) | ||

25 | ml | dark rum |
25 | ml | brandy |
15 | ml | cream sherry |
2 | teaspoons | lime juice |
- Mix the ingredients above in a heatproof glass then top up with boiling water and stir well. Dust with grated nutmeg. That’s it.
- For a party, multiply the ingredients above according to the number of guests and mix in a large pan with 100ml water per person.
- Heat very gently but don’t allow it to boil, then serve with the nutmeg as a garnish.
