Hot Rum Punch

This simple, well balanced punch is a good way of using up any sweet sherry left over from Christmas.

Ingredients (1 servings)
25 ml dark rum
25 ml brandy
15 ml cream sherry
2 teaspoon(s) lime juice
  • Mix the ingredients above in a heatproof glass then top up with boiling water and stir well. Dust with grated nutmeg. That’s it.
  • For a party, multiply the ingredients above according to the number of guests and mix in a large pan with 100ml water per person.
  • Heat very gently but don’t allow it to boil, then serve with the nutmeg as a garnish.
