Best Street Food Restaurants in Graz
A very atmospheric location that is also popular after a visit to the theatre because of the mixed drinks. It serves fine Japanese cuisine with maki, sushi and tataki. The crispy chicken wrap or spicy chilli shrimps with tomatoes, rice and herbs are also delicious.
The whole of Graz comes together for delicacies and wine, Champagne or beer, and on some days the queue of connoisseurs stretches out into the street. The selection of fine bread rolls is plentiful, with those with Serbian spread, curry and leg ham among the favourites.
The authentic Lebanese dishes are a real delight. Small delicacies such as hummus, tabouleh, fattoush and wraps are prepared according to traditional recipes: a colourful mosaic for the eye. The lovingly made Arabic coffee is also very good.
Food brings people together - and it is precisely this feeling of "sei a casa di amici", or being at home with friends, that takes centre stage. The best ingredients make all the difference: flour from Naples, San Marzano tomatoes and a handful of Parmigiano in the dough. And a little extra on top never hurts.
Immerse yourself in a world of oriental flavours and enjoy delicious Levantine cuisine in the form of mezze. Lots of small plates to pass around provide variety. Hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouleh, oven-baked vegetables and shakshuka are the highlights. The house beer is the perfect accompaniment.
In Japan, ramen, the hot noodle soup, is eaten at any time of day. You can also do this in the hip ramen bar in Graz. At Tan-Tan-Men or Yuzu-Ramen, for example. Very fine starters such as the classic gyoza, but the chicken "karaage" is also good.
The food truck offers the ultimate hot dog treat: juicy, with creative toppings and appetisingly presented. If you like cheese, go for the "Cheesy Heaven". And of course there are also vegetarian options. The sweet potato fries are crispy and go well with truffle mayonnaise.
The location at Kaiser-Josef-Markt is a real asset, as the best fresh produce is available here every day. Tender meat from the smoker is served with potatoes, salads and sauces. Munich Augustiner beer on tap and wines from Austria are the perfect accompaniment.
You are spoilt with authentic Japanese tapas in the casually designed ambience. Sushi comes with a modern twist, and the kimchi fries are also very good. The new "Special Menu", including ramen, is perfect for savouring. The cocktails also leave nothing to be desired.
Pure variety is the motto of the restaurant, which impresses with its casual, urban flair. The steaks made from the best beef are absolutely tender and the juicy burgers are also popular. With pasta al dente, crispy seasonal salads or creatively filled sandwiches, it's all about savouring.
Meticulous attention is paid to the quality of the produce. The meat for the patties comes from AlmOx in Styria, and the buns and dips are prepared every day according to a house recipe. There is also a choice of burgers for vegetarians or a salad with spinach and cheese dumplings.
A very cool setting in a prime city centre location where you can meet up for a Moscow Mule or a glass of wine. If you're hungry, there are tacos with pulled beef and grilled pineapple, burritos or quesadillas. The sandwich with avocado cream, brie, paprika and mushroom ragout is also delicious.
The selection is extensive. It starts with the drinks, including smoothies, matcha lattes, homemade lemonades and iced teas. Bowls are available with chicken, beef, salmon or vegan options. Pizza comes from the wood-fired oven and the beef burgers can be smashed. Top: the cheese krainer burger.
Everything here revolves around vegan cuisine. As far as possible, only products from organic farming are sourced, which are used in fresh dishes every day. The emphasis is on authentic international dishes and the vegan patisserie is made in-house.
The menu changed its focus from sandwiches to burgers. And as always, a lot of ingenuity is put into it. The duck burger with chilli mayo is a hit, as is the "Levante chicken burger": fried chicken breast with homemade mint basil hummus. Top Bevog beer!
New creations are honed in the kitchen for a long time before they appear on the menu. They all have one thing in common: the buns, dips and drinks are all homemade. The accompaniment is exceptional: sophisticated wines, including from France and Italy, are available to choose from.

Popular sausage stand on Graz's main square. The most common sausages are of course available here, but the outstanding specialties such as gyros pita and gyros burger with feta cheese are rather unusual. Schnitzel burgers with bacon are also not available everywhere - especially late at night.
Beef from Austria, fresh (never frozen) minced meat, the buns with butter from the bakery, the sauces from our own workshop. These are the ingredients from which the burgers are made. The range is complemented by seasonal and vegetarian burgers, bowls, steaks and salads.
