Trends and fashions have largely left Andreas Scherle's wine bar untouched. The wine house was founded in 1902 and customers would probably rebel if lentils with string sausages and Maultäschle were taken off the menu. Served with a Trollinger, followed by Altes Pflümle.

Come in the morning and leave late in the evening: not a bad idea. The cappuccino is highly regarded by Stuttgart's gourmets and the terrace is full when Bollinger Champagne is served. Walther is also a paradise for cakes and savoury snacks.
Small location in the tranquil 'Bean District' with an outdoor area on cobblestones. With wines mainly from Tuscany and the region, there are antipasti plates, anchovies and olives, but also pasta and risotto on the changing daily menu.
