Berlin-based "CODA" Celebrates Anniversary with Pop-up in Copenhagen
To mark its tenth anniversary, Berlin’s "CODA" is taking its celebrated dessert cuisine on the road, setting up shop in Copenhagen for a month. Chef René Frank and his team will showcase their signature creations at Tivoli.
To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Berlin’s CODA is temporarily relocating: from July 16 to August 16, 2026, chef René Frank and his team will bring their acclaimed restaurant to Copenhagen. For four weeks, CODA will take over the Japanese Pagoda in Tivoli, a venue that regularly hosts top international restaurants with temporary concepts.
The residency is part of a program featuring several internationally award-winning restaurants this year. According to the organizers, the participating concepts collectively hold 15 Michelin stars.
For years, Frank has been known for a fine dining concept heavily influenced by patisserie techniques, deliberately blurring the line between sweet and savory courses. This signature format will be preserved during the month-long residency, with both lunch and dinner menus on offer. During this period, the Berlin location will remain closed.
Alongside CODA, other renowned restaurants joining the program include Sühring from Bangkok, Zilte from Antwerp, and Flocons de Sel from the French Alps.
Copenhagen has long been a key hub in the international fine dining scene, and temporary guest residencies like this have now become a regular highlight on the city’s gastronomic calendar.
