The 5-star hotel in the heart of the Catalan capital will reopen for its guests on April 1, 2021 after the lockdown - with some new features and special offers.
With its 100-year history, the hotel is considered one of Barcelona's icons and impresses with its luxury, unique concepts and exclusive service. "We are delighted to finally be able to reopen for our guests - spring is now coming to Barcelona and with it, life is returning to our hotel. Our dedicated team has spent the last few weeks preparing everything so that guests can expect an unforgettable, safe and special vacation experience," explains Hotel Manager Friedrich von Schönburg.
For the reopening, the hotel is offering its guests a special service for a safe journey: Airport transfers are included in the price for all bookings made via the El Palace Barcelona website. This is carried out by a trusted partner company that applies all hygiene and safety protocols. The hotel has also developed an app for its guests, which they can use to check in online and - if they wish - contact the team digitally. Strict hygiene protocols are also observed when cleaning and disinfecting private and communal areas and social distancing is ensured. All employees must undergo a daily temperature measurement and wear a protective mask while on duty.

The gastronomic offer in the roof garden of El Palace Barcelona is designed in the appropriate style. This dinner is also included in the overnight offer "Les nits a El Palace" and also includes a 25 euro voucher for the Mayan Luxury Spa as well as breakfast. After reopening, the hotel will initially have its entire F&B offer exclusively in the roof garden, both indoors and outdoors. Breakfast will be served as a menu instead of the usual buffet. Alternatively, there will also be a reduced room service menu for guests.
