Four Seasons in New Orleans: Hotel and Private Residences Opened
Situated above the stunning Mississippi River, the hotel allows guests to enjoy an authentic Southern experience with every luxury imaginable.
The Four Seasons experience has been legendary around the world for more than 60 years. Ever since Isadore "Issy" Sharp opened his first Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto, the brand has stood for extraordinary experiences and incomparable luxury. Both are now to be continued at the Four Seasons in New Orleans. It is located on the banks of the Mississippi on Canal Street. From here, you can reach sights such as the historic French Quarter or the Warehouse Arts District, parks and green spaces in just a few minutes. Business travelers appreciate the location in the Central Business District and the proximity to the Convention Center, while sports and entertainment fans can quickly reach the Superdome and the Smoothie King Center. "Guests can plan their visit around one of our many food, cocktail, music and community festivals where they can enjoy the vibrant and energizing culture of our city," said Melissa Comardelle. The head concierge hails from New Orleans and is a recipient of Les Clefs d'Or. No guest wish goes unfulfilled, whether it's a private jazz concert or a private streetcar ride through the historic Garden District. In this respect, the Four Seasons in New Orleans is in no way inferior to the other 120 or so hotels of the brand.
Unrivalled design
The "hardware" of the hotel also leaves nothing to be desired. Guests can choose from a total of 341 beautiful rooms and suites. They were all designed by Bill Rooney Studio. They are bright and airy. Color nuances between pure white and pale grey, wall coverings, plaster reliefs and carefully selected details create a luxurious ambience. Those who would like to enjoy the Four Seasons experience a little longer can do so in one of the 92 Four Seasons Private Residences with full service. Residents have access to the spa, fitness center, rooftop pool terrace and restaurants. Speaking of the pool: the crescent-shaped pool opens in the fall. Four private cabanas, countless sun loungers and a view of the Mississippi River make it the place to be under the hot Louisiana sun. Spa, fitness center, an art collection with exhibition and numerous dining outlets complete the new Four Seasons in New Orleans.
Mecca for gourmets
It is no secret that Southern cuisine has a lot to offer and is one of the best regional cuisines in the country. Four Seasons has therefore teamed up with renowned chefs from the region for its F&B concept in the new branch. The aim: a new restaurant concept that celebrates Southern cuisine like no other. The "Miss River" is a kind of love letter to Lousiana. The celebrated chef Alon Shaya reinterprets classics there. Sometimes in a very bold way. Alexander Waterworth Interiors designed the drastic backdrop. Donald Link, also a local, presents steaks and seafood in his latest concept restaurant "Chemin a la Mer". The Chandelier Bar is the best location for an aperitif. The glamorous meeting point above the main entrance and lobby is illuminated by a breathtaking light and glass installation made up of 15,000 individual pieces.
