Only around forty minutes by car from popular destinations such as Ostuni, Alberobello and Monopoli, the new Four Seasons in Puglia will be one of the few hotels in the region with direct access to the beach. The rooms are located in villa-like units, all facing the sea. The design is by HKS Architects, an award-winning international design firm that has worked with Four Seasons on projects in the Bahamas, Tunis and Egypt, while the interior design is being led by ODA Architecture.
The hotel also has six restaurants and bars, including an all-day dining option, a restaurant focusing on regional specialties, a seasonal pool bar and grill, a lobby lounge bar, a signature bar and a beach club. The new resort will also feature extensive meeting and event space, including a ballroom and smaller meeting rooms in a dedicated building, as well as additional outdoor event facilities, and the state-of-the-art destination spa will include a fitness center, ten treatment rooms, hammam, sauna, pool and yoga studio.
The resort will be located 40 kilometers from Brindisi International Airport and 95 kilometers from Bari International Airport and is also easily accessible by direct train from Rome.
It has not yet been determined when the new hotel will open.
A luxurious guest experience
"As we continue to grow as a brand, our focus is on opening hotels in the world's best destinations and in markets where we can offer an upscale luxury experience. In Puglia, we have succeeded in combining both objectives and the project is perfect for expanding our presence in Italy together with our partners at the Omnam Investment Group under the leadership of David Zisser" said John Davison, President and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. "We look forward to setting the standard for a luxurious guest experience in this beautiful region and offering new opportunities to explore more of this incredible country with Four Seasons."
"Together with our partners, led by Adam Hudaly of IAC Investments, we acquired this exceptional property in Puglia at the end of 2020. We are always looking for ways to create something unique and unexpected with every new project, and we are delighted that we are able to do this with an iconic brand like Four Seasonst," says David Zisser, founder and CEO of the Omnam Group. "As more and more travelers discover Puglia, we look forward to offering the best luxury lifestyle experience not only through exceptional design and amenities, but also through the region's renowned Four Seasons service."
Puglia forms the heel of the Italian "boot" and is known as the home of ancient cities with rich history, scenic national parks, towering mountains, exceptional food and wine, pristine beaches and for its sun-drenched Mediterranean climate. The town of Ostuni, also known as "White city" is just a short drive from the resort. The medieval streets and the Gothic cathedral from the 15th century invite you to take a day trip.
