The top chef is allegedly working on a relaunch of the Hell's Kitchen brand – including a return to television and new restaurants in the UK.

Gordon Ramsay is certainly one of the most famous celebrity chefs in the world. His Michelin-starred restaurants, TV shows like Master Chef and Kitchen Nightmares and, of course, his infamous temper, he has long since established himself as an international culinary icon.

After a break of ten years, his successful TV format Hell's Kitchen is set to return to the British channel ITV. According to reports, the new edition will be launched next year – naturally, with Ramsay himself as the host and head chef. The show's initial run in the UK went from 2004 to 2009 before becoming a global TV hit in the US.

Expansion plans

In addition to a possible revival of the TV show, a new Hell's Kitchen restaurant could open in the UK. This is hinted at by a trademark registration dated January 27 of this year, where Gordon Ramsay secured the rights to the brand for both entertainment purposes and restaurant operations.

The concept would be based on Ramsay's successful model in the USA: The first Hell's Kitchen restaurant opened there in Las Vegas back in 2018, and other locations have since followed. The combination of TV show and gastronomy proved to be a success that has slowly grown – most recently with the opening of the first European Hell's Kitchen restaurant in Ibiza. The brand's appeal, which regularly draws large crowds in the US , is now set to conquer the Ramsay's home market.
