New ski retreat in the Swiss Alps: "The Glacier Hotel"

Neueröffnung
Hotel
Waadt

On December 20, "The Glacier Hotel" opens in the charming winter sports resort of Les Diablerets. Freshly renovated, the former "Eurotel Victoria" is relaunching under the umbrella of the "Glacier 3000 Group" - just in time for the winter season and just in time for Christmas.

The traditional "Eurotel Victoria" has been located in the ski resort of Les Diablerets since 1972. Following extensive renovation, it is now to be opened all year round as the 4-star superior "The Glacier Hotel", combining tradition with a modern Alpine lifestyle.

The experienced host couple Alexandra and Stéphane Wartner are leading the hotel into a new era. The newly renovated lobby, a restaurant, terrace and a swimming pool with sauna and bio sauna will be available to guests from this winter.

Charming mountain village in the Swiss Alps

Les Diablerets is situated at an altitude of 1200 meters, around half an hour from fashionable Gstaad and about an hour from Lake Geneva. The proximity to the mountain railroads makes "The Glacier Hotel" the perfect starting point for ski-in/ski-out, winter hikes, cross-country skiing or sleigh rides.

Glacier 3000" adventure world

The "Glacier 3000" leisure region is only closed for 25 days a year - the rest of the time, attractions such as the "Glacier Walk", the "Peak Walk by Tissot" (the suspension bridge connects two mountain peaks) or the "Alpine Coaster", the highest toboggan run in the world, attract visitors. For ski fans, the area offers the black slope "Black Wall", one of the steepest slopes in the world: 46 degree gradients provide pure thrills.
