Opening of Hotel MOTTO: Vienna meets 1920s Paris!

On October 2, the stylish Hotel MOTTO opens in the heart of Vienna. Home-grown interior, a mix of French flair and Viennese style and a lot of attention to detail characterize the new hotspot.

"I don't want to be a number, so everything is very personal and also reflects my taste," explains Bernd Schlacher, top restaurateur and owner of the new boutique hotel MOTTO in Vienna. The Styrian put his heart and soul into the former Hotel Kummer directly on Vienna's boulevard - with the Hotel MOTTO he fulfilled a lifelong dream on the Vienna's Mariahilfer Strasse.

The hotel with 83 rooms and 8 suites impresses at first glance with its unusual concept and stylish interior. The walls are covered with fine fabrics with patterns from the Arkan Zeytinoglu Architects covered. The furniture is not only coincidentally reminiscent of the Ritz in ParisThey were further developed from the furniture of the Grand Hotel. Attention was paid to regionality - everything was manufactured and processed by local companies. Each lamp is truly unique and designed especially for the hotel. The result: chic, inviting rooms in which you will find many lovely details and where guests feel completely at ease.

But the attention to detail does not end with the interior of the house. The employees' work clothes come from Lena Hoschekstylish and elegant. The reception looks like a bar and fits perfectly into the overall look of the hotel. A gin and tonic is served in the lobby as a welcome drink, which tastes even better in the unmistakable ambience. The roof terrace offers wonderful views, and if you want to enjoy a cozy dinner with friends, you can sit in the Schanigarten of the Boulangerie MOTTO Bread.

Sustainable and exceptional concept

It's not just the interior that bridges the gap between Vienna and Paris - the menu also features a seafood platter alongside the classic Wiener Schnitzel. The wines served are all organic and the restaurant's own beer is brewed using leftover bread from its own bakery MOTTO Bread in the house. This is an efficient way of avoiding waste.
