The most expensive hotels in the world
With the opening of the "Espacio Nagoya" in Japan, a new luxury hotel is shaking up the price scale: a night here costs up to 21,500 euros. But there are even more exclusive addresses available. Falstaff TRAVEL presents some of the most expensive suites in the world.
In Japan's third largest metropolis, Nagoya, an extraordinary refuge of superlatives opened in October. Not only the design and service are luxuriant, but also the price per night. But it is not only in Japan that luxury knows no bounds - Falstaff TRAVEL presents some of the most exclusive and expensive suites in the world.
Luxurious new arrival in Nagoya
The new luxury hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous "Nagoya Castle" and combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary architecture. A night in the most exclusive suite costs up to around 21,500 euros - a price that is exceptional even in Japan's high-priced hotel market.
The eleven-storey building, inspired by the architecture of classic Japanese castles, is primarily aimed at international guests with an interest in design and cultural history. The 100 rooms take up motifs from the samurai era and interpret them with modern materials and clear forms.

The presidential duplex suite measures 667 square meters and costs just under 30,000 euros per night.
Paris scores with top-class hotels
Particularly outstanding in the "City of Love" is the "Cheval Blanc Paris", which is housed in the Art Deco department store "La Samaritaine", opened in 1870. The hotel has 72 rooms in the historic part of the building on the Quai du Louvre and is the only hotel located directly on the Seine, with a view of sights such as Notre Dame, the Conciergerie or the Pont Neuf.
The Quintessence Suite extends over 650 square meters and has a private swimming pool, with prices starting at just under 50,000 euros per night. A spa, multilingual staff and a comprehensive concierge service are included in the price.

In Hong Kong, large, exclusive luxury hotels dominate the top end of the market. The Peninsula brand in particular is represented here several times and has established its impressive success story in the city, which has long been regarded as one of the world's leading hotel metropolises. The opulent, gold-decorated lobby and the courteous service ensure that guests feel completely looked after.
The "Peninsula Suite" (from around 15,500 euros per night) has its own concert grand piano, a private gym and selected works of art - complemented by a spectacular view over the Hong Kong skyline.
