This Lollipop Is Basically a Set of Headphones

Candy
Novelty

A lollipop that tastes sweet and beams music straight to your inner ear? Straight out of sci-fi—yet this futuristic candy debuted at a Las Vegas trade show and even hit prime-time U.S. TV.

At first glance, Lollipop Star looks like any other lollipop. Only a closer look—or a taste—unveils its secret. This lollipop plays music straight to your ear—without the need for speakers or headphones.

Sound Through Bone-conduction Technology

No sorcery here, just clever tech: Lollipop Star relies on bone-conduction technology, with all the electronics concealed inside the stick. When you bite down on the candy, vibrations are transmitted through your jaw directly to the inner ear. Bystanders hear nothing. The audio quality isn’t exactly hi-fi—but at around nine dollars apiece, it’s hardly a budget-buster.

It debuted at the CES 2026, the world’s top consumer electronics show, then hit TV: Canadian YouTuber Linus Sebastian demoed Lollipop Star on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. The hosts’ widening eyes amid dead studio silence stole the show nearly as much as the tech. The clip exploded on social.

Let Your Music Taste Decide the Flavor

Pairing taste with tunes is a pop culture masterstroke. Each flavor links to an artistpeach to rapper Ice Spice, blueberry to Akon, lime to Armani White. AMOS’s sugar-free, K-pop focused audio lollipop sticks to tracks within the same genre. Prices are in the double-digit range. That's higher than average pocket money—but worth it.
