Das “Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival” – kurz: Coachella – gilt zwar nicht wirklich als Festival im Sommer 2024, denn es findet schon im April statt. Aber dafür ist es umso bekannter. Rund a quarter of a million people flock to the festival grounds on each of the two weekends. They enjoy larger and smaller Music acts from pop, rock, hip-hop and electronica. The line-up is the same on both weekends. This year Headliner Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, Doja Cat and No Doubt.

While there are still tickets available for Coachella this year, it's getting harder and harder to get them for Glastonbury Festival. No wonder, because here too, the line-up is impressive every year. While Elton John was on stage last year, you can expect Coldplay, Dua Lipa and SNZ at this year's festival. Between the individual acts, you can go to a yoga session, get creative or go vintage shopping. Once you've been there, you'll be convinced: Glastonbury is the best festival in the world!

Over 100,000 festival fans celebrated last year in Copenhagen together with Queens of the Stone Age and Blur as headliner. The festival, which has been taking place since 1971, is known for its first-class main acts. For example Bob DylanBruno Mars, Gorillaz, Foo Fighters, Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones and Metallica. 2024 headliners Doja Cat, Skrillex, Foo Fighters and Jane’s Addiction on. A nice detail on the side: the entire profit from the festival goes to non-profit organizations.

Although it's one of the younger ones among the summer festivals of 2024, there's hardly anyone who doesn't know Tomorrowland. First held in 2005, a total of 600,000 visitors attended the open-air music festival over the two weekends in 2022. It's mainly about electronic music, but one special feature is the extraordinary setting of the festival. Huge buildings, decorations and people in costumes - each matching the theme of the year - frame the DJ sets. Speaking of music: Armin van Buuren, Swedish House Mafia and Hysta are among those heating up the stage this year.

Every summer since 1993, music enthusiasts have been celebrating on the Danube Island Óbudai in Budapest. There's music, open-air cinema, dancing, stores for shopping and even a children's program at 60 different venues. If you like, you can even take part in sports. One of the special features is that you can get in and out again and back in again with your ticket. In other words, there's also time for sightseeing in the Hungarian capital (or stylish accommodation away from the tents). This year's line-up includes Stormzy, Martin Garrix, Liam Gallagher and around 80 other acts.

The last festival in summer 2024 will take place in the Black Rock Wüste.
