Slavia in Košice is an Art Nouveau building from 1900 with a café, a hotel and a view of the theater. Today it is one of the popular gastronomic places, known for combining traditional recipes with modern flavor combinations and aesthetic serving. It also includes the historic-style Boutique Hotel Slavia.

Self Description

Slavia, today an integral part of the color of the center of Košice, was built as an Art Nouveau building with a luxurious café back in 1900. It immediately charmed visitors with its decorative interior, large windows, glass ceiling and view directly onto the theater. The building also houses the Boutique Hotel Slavia, which offers accommodation in a charming Art Nouveau style, inspired by Slavia's predecessor - the Schiffbeck Hotel. However, Slavia has become popular with the people of Košice primarily thanks to its excellent cuisine, whose cooking style is based on traditional recipes, finely tuned by flavor combinations with a very aesthetic design on the plate.
