This whiskey has a dark and delicately earthy flavour. Mushroom duxelles, pine cones and raw cocoa come to mind. On the palate the golden-coloured sip then shows gentleness: caramel and a little honey interweave with dried fruit (pear) to create a beautiful harmony.
