Unangefochten an der Spitze unseres Whisky Sortiments steht natürlich der Mühlviertler Highland Whisky – ein besonders edles Tröpfchen. Wir lassen unseren Schlägler Roggen-Brand mit etwas Rauchmalz im einem Schottischen Laphroaig Eichenfass reifen. Nach 9 Jahren kommt er in die Flaschen und ist limitiert aus sage und schreibe 156 Flaschen.

Tasting from 02.11.2021: Benjamin Herzog, Erhard Ruthner, Roland Graf, Othmar Kiem, David Penker, Hermann Botolen, Daniel Ulicny, Heinz Karasek, Katharina Schwaller

An evident peat note has a slightly medicinal effect and clearly trumps the typical cereal-scented notes. Lots of black tea, tobacco and other strong cask aromas on the palate. Rustic finish with medium length.
