Intense peaty nose, not unpleasantly reminiscent of strongly braked rubber. The delicate cereal-scented notes are gently accentuated. With a little air, vanilla and dried fruit join in. Powerful on the palate, again intense smoke, now more reminiscent of a cooled campfire. Subtle malty sweetness and fruitiness in the centre, plus a balanced spiciness and some oak.
