It all began in a garage in Montelupo Albese, where Beppo Caviola started to realise his dream of owning his own winery and bottled his first Dolcetto. A Barbera and another Dolcetto followed, then came the move to Dogliani. Since 2005, Beppo has also been cultivating the Sottocastello di Novello cru for the production of Barolo. He has been advised in his work by numerous winemaker friends, including renowned names such as Elio Altare and Domenico Clerico. The plantings of Riesling and Chardonnay bear witness to his love of experimentation.
