In the 1950s, Alberto Moretti Cuseri acquired the first hectares of land at Tenuta Sette Ponti. Due to the excellent suitability of the soil, he began working the vineyards, but did not produce his own wine. After Alberto's son took over the winery, he launched the first label in 1998: Crognolo, made from the clones of Sangiovese vines in the estate's oldest vineyard called Vigna dell'Impero. Since 2018, the next generation of the Moretti-Cuseri family has represented the company's strong values, which are an expression of tradition and great passion.
