The red wine Oreno, vintage 2012 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, still very powerful ruby red. Very intense and multi-layered nose, rich aromas of dark berries, cassis and blackberry, with fine tobacco notes. Full-bodied in the attack and on the palate, unfolds with dense tannins in many layers, builds up rich drive, the tannins are very well integrated on the finish, supple.
