Weingut Gurks Vinum

Falstaff Wine Guide Germany 2025

You should remember this unusual name: Gurks Vinum has been built up by Sophie and Martin Gurks since 2018, and the first wines were bottled in 2022, of which the famously juicy and elegant Pinot Noir in particular underlines the great certain ageing potential of the young winemaking couple. While Martin looks after the vines, Sophie develops the wines according to the "low intervention" principle, while the border collie dog Hilde is the good soul at Gurks Vinum and is also depicted in bright colours on the labels. A strong debut in the wine guide, we can't wait to see what follows.
