Urs and Regula Jauslin-Brunner are the fourth generation to run the Jauslin winery in Muttenz, the second-largest wine growing village in the Lower Basel region. With son Adrian, the fifth generation is now at work. The family cultivates around 6.5 hectares of vines on the southern slope of the Wartenberg in Muttenz. Primarily Chasselas and Pinot Noir, which thrive here on clayey and chalky soils. The Jauslins' most important wine is the Pinot Noir Hohle Gasse, which was pressed for the first time in 2002.
