The Mantler31 winery is located in Großriedenthal, 60 km west of Vienna between Krems and Tulln in the Wagram wine-growing region. The name is derived from the house number of the winery and is intended to make it easier to distinguish. The "Nachhaltig Austria" certified family winery has been run by Andrea and Christian Mantler in the eighth generation for several years now. They sum up their philosophy as follows: "We vinify our wines in harmony with nature - the balanced interplay of soil, location and climate inspires us and our wines tell of the living nature in which our vines grow when tasted attentively." Elaborate manual work and gentle cellar technology are used here to fill the bottle with the maximum amount of aromas. 90% of the vineyards are planted with white wine varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Roter Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Gelber Muskateller and Frühroter Veltliner. The rest is planted with the red wine variety Zweigelt, which is vinified in a variety of ways.
