It has a subtle and complex bouquet, with notes of confit, and dried dark and red berry, as well as some lovely spicy hints. It is surprisingly lean on the palate, with ripe acidity, concentrated dark fruit, especially plum, along with some spicy notes, and fine-grained tannins, and it has a long finish.
