The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Giovanni Rosso has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Elegant and inviting fruit on the nose of ripe raspberries, strawberries and cherries, underpinned by pencil lead, leather and mint. Very elegant, fruity notion on the palate, with a delicate texture, good balance and finely integrated, tightly woven tannins and plenty of fruit on the long finish.
