Barrel sample. The bouquet is a little closed but there are flinty and warm sandstone aromas. In the mouth, it is oily initially with poised sweetness, intensely yellow-fruit character followed by a balancing vivacious acidity, immensely densely packed with minerality, for now the astringency is more noticeable on the palate than the sweet fruit. Great length, great richness, a wine of finesse and elegance. Life expectancy 30 years+.
