Strong ruby garnet, broad rim brightening, socked, water edge, nose of kitchen herbs, sweet dried fruit, smoky, some nougat, some notes of age on the palate, appears somewhat slender, ripe sweetness, the tannins are somewhat angular, demanding, a good food companion.
