Purple in the glass. Still somewhat closed. Shows notes of dark forest berries, green pepper and nuances of raspberry. Becomes visibly more intense with aeration. Full-bodied on the palate, but definitely elegant with ripe acidity, round tannins and a beautiful mellowness that, paired with the berry aromas, is almost sweet. Finishes juicy, lingers for a long time.
