The red wine Montosoli Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Altesino has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has a brilliant rich ruby red colour, with a fine garnet shimmer. It is very vivid and fruity nose, with notes of fresh raspberry and dark cherry, and a slight hint of fennel in the background. On the palate it is round and supple, with grippy tannins, and a fine texture, and it is full-bodied with a beautiful drive on the finish.
