The red wine Ampeleia IGT, vintage 2009 from the winery Ampeleia has been rated in 2012 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling, rich ruby. Opens with explosive notes of cloves, pepper, thyme, lots of cherry and plum. Lots of present fruit on the palate, shows fine-grained tannin with sweet melting, flows calmly, good pressure in the finish, after cassis.
