Tasting Notes

93
Tasting from 15.07.2014

Almost exclusively on the herbal side of the aroma spectrum: sandalwood, cinchona bark, wormwood. Soft on the palate, but not overly sweet or even hot, then juicy with a delicate flow. Good nerve, sandy tannin quality that supports the elegant impression, good length. Salty, only subtly wood-influenced finish. Good food companion.

Medium ruby-garnet color, violet reflections, broad edge brightening. Sweet red berry confit on the nose, southern herbal spice, somewhat reminiscent of Nero d'Avola. Light-bodied on the palate, juicy, dry style, sticks surprisingly well, versatile food companion.
