The red wine Roblinus De Waldgries Lagrein Südtirol DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Ansitz Waldgries has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Rich, deep, dark ruby, violet hints and a black core. Still a little closed on the nose, with aromas of smoke and elderberries, subtle hints of dark chocolate. Powerful and intense on the palate, juicy, with well-integrated acidity providing good drinking flow, robust tannins and a subtle woody note on the finish. Still very young.
