The red wine Furioso Sicilia DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Assuli has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Perricone from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, brilliant garnet in colour with a dark hue. On he nose, spicy black pepper with eucalyptus, then juicy wild berries and a subtle hint of varnish. Stretches comfortably over the palate, pronounced in tannin, with a medium weight, rustic in style, with a finish that is a little short.
