The red wine Barolo Margheria DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Azelia has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby core. Upfront notes of iodine and rusty iron, then fine savouriness components, finally rich notes of cranberry and sour cherry. Gripy, very full tannin on the palate, builds up to an attractive concentrated intensity , deep and earthy on the finish.
