The red wine Gavarini Chiniera Barolo DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Azienda Agricola Elio Grasso has been rated in 2013 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby colour. Opens on the nose with distinctly fragrant notes of pomegranate, then fresh plum, calm and balanced. Lots of taut, densely moulded tannins on the palate, salty, shows rich depth, firm drive on the finish, also beautiful fruit.
