The red wine Ginestra Casa Matè Barolo DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Azienda Agricola Elio Grasso has been rated in 2013 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby colour with garnet rim. Very fragrant, clear nose, with notes of plums, cranberries and a hint of herbs in the background. Velvety and dense on the palate, initially shows a lot of vivid, ripe fruit, then opens up with dense, very fine tannins, builds up for a very long time, full-bodied drive on the finish.
