The red wine Boca DOC, vintage 2009 from the winery Azienda Agricola Le Piane has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Sparkling, intense ruby-garnet color. Appealing nose with notes of licorice, plums and some roses. Powerful tannin on the palate, profound, shows beautiful notes of raspberry and plum, somewhat brittle on the finish, still needs ageing.
