The white wine Manditocai Collio DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Livon has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Brilliant pale straw yellow. Opens with slightly smoky-mineral notes, some basil, then lots of ripe apple. Round and full-bodied in the attack and on the palate, builds up well, ripe, vivid fruit, nice interplay between fruit and subtle use of oak, long finish. .
