The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Quintarelli Giuseppe has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby. Very appealing, concentrated nose, but also shows fresh fruit of dark cherry, fresh plum and a hint of cardamom, nice display. Fills the palate very well, grippy, fine tannin, opens in many layers, ripe cherry, slightly salty notes, shows tension.
