The sweet and dessert wine Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOC, vintage 2007 from the winery Quintarelli Giuseppe has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Shiny, rich ruby with a fine garnet rim. Multi-layered nose of pickled cherries, raspberry jelly, then gingerbread and Linzer Torte. On the palate round and lush, lots of ripe plum and dark raspberry, nice play between sweetness and tannin, opens grippy, very balanced on the finish, long finish, despite the sweetness great flow.
