The red wine Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Barone di Villagrande has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Transparent ruby red with slightly brightening rim. On the nose red currants, herbal notes paired with some pepper. On the palate elegant fruit and nice acidity, with well-integrated, fine tannins and a good flow.
