The red wine Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Barone di Villagrande has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Medium bright ruby red with garnet reflections. Cherries, blackberries and redcurrants on the nose, with a background of pepper and liquorice. Very elegant on the palate with well-integrated acidity, fine tannins and a fruity finish.
