The franciacorta Palazzo Lana Extrême Franciacorta Riserva DOCG Extra Brut, vintage 2011 from the winery Berlucchi Franciacorta has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Nero from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Noble straw yellow in colour, with a drop of copper and persistent mousse. On the nose, cold smoke, elegant woody spice, milk chocolate and candied fruit , with some savoury porcini mushrooms and sea salt - very complex and inviting. Balanced and very elegant on the palate, with lots of juicy fruit texture. It's pure and bone-dry, with a tightly meshed mousse that lingers for a long time.
